From a request to something that works in practice
I want to understand why a change is needed before deciding how to build it. What is someone trying to do? Where does duplicate work occur? What happens when the usual route does not apply? These questions help turn a request into a practical solution.
I work with the people who understand the process: developers, product owners, staff and end users. I make decisions and limitations open for discussion, so we can weigh what is needed now and what can wait. The existing application is the starting point; what works well does not need to be rebuilt.
My contribution to projects
Gazelle — interim Magento developer. I worked on ongoing development, security updates and backend performance. Documenting the patching process was also part of the assignment, enabling the internal team to continue using it. Read about my work for Gazelle ↗

What I work on
My technical focus is backend development and connecting processes. With Laravel, I work on custom applications and portals. For Magento, the work covers ongoing development, maintenance and the systems around the store. For integrations, I look at data flows, exceptions and maintenance after delivery.

How I collaborate
You have direct contact with the person who investigates technical decisions and works on the code. I make the work concrete in increments we can discuss, explaining what a choice means for users, maintenance and future development. Feedback becomes part of the process while we build.
Handover is part of the work too. Depending on the assignment, we agree on the documentation, checks and explanation your team needs. This may cover the reasoning behind a technical choice, how an integration works or how to apply an update.
