Ongoing development, taking over support and maintenance
A new collaboration starts with the existing Magento version, extensions, custom code and development environment. We also review how changes are released, what can be tested and which documentation is available. We then separate necessary maintenance from desired improvements.
Magento maintenance involves more than running an update. We review relevant security updates, dependencies and their effects on custom code and integrations. For each change, we agree on checks, a rollback option and a suitable release window. At Gazelle, we combined interim development with a patching process and documented handover, making maintenance something the internal team could continue.
Integrations that fit your operation
Supplier feeds, accounting and sales channels need clear agreements about product data, stock and orders. We map the data flows and exceptions, including error handling and recovery. Not every business process has to be built inside Magento: a separate integration layer may be easier to maintain.

You stay involved in the decisions
We make the initial scope concrete using a normal order and a difficult exception: a different delivery time, an out-of-stock item or an error in a supplier file. You review working increments along the way, so we can adjust before extending the solution further.
Before release, we choose checks that suit the change, such as price calculation, checkout, payments, stock or order transfer. Documentation and handover are part of the agreement, so it remains clear what changed and how it is maintained.
What does Magento development cost?
It depends on the existing code and extensions, the number of integrations and the change you need. A small extension requires a different approach from taking over an unfamiliar store.
